as part of my larger plan to ascend the ranks from “support team” to “team savior” status in moab next year, i went out and got a new toy today.  take a good look at her, i will probably crash it into a fucking tree tomorrow morning on the maiden voyage, and then she’ll have that droopy mouth and frosted eyeball that only i would still find attractive…  oh, and speaking of bikes, according to germ, even riding a cast iron bike from 1963 with wooden wheels, mr. larochelle still posted the fastest lap time of our little merry band of racers at the rocky hill race last weekend… the man cannot be stopped.  except by jagermeister. 

i did get the distinct impression that germ, at least, approves of the newest addition to the family… 

for those not in the know, the rocky hill 24 hour bike race took place this past weekend… which directly coincided with our resident bad ass germ turning 30. in true skinny kid fashion, he showed us that a 30 year old texan is more than a match for a 32 year old guy from breck (at least when the breck guy hasn’t slept in 3 days and has a tummy ache from a self-inflicted jagermeister shot…) fun was had, bikes were ridden, alcohol consumed… new pictures are up on my flickr site, check them out…

germ, wade, and co. are yet again engaging in some random endeavor to make the rest of us feel lazy and worthless. the difference? this year, some idiot invited this guy:

that’s right folk… in 14 short days the brad will decend upon austin, texas and all hell may or may not break loose. oh, and from what i hear, this guy might be coming too…. yeesh…..
